Iwill MPX2 ... AGP gone bad, how to tell?

I've had my Iwill MPX2 up and running just fine since late January.

MPX2 w/ATI AIW Radeon 9700

Yesterday evening, I'm using the computer to surf the web, I get a single beep and the computer shuts off.

Diagnosis leads me to believe the card may have gone bad ... with the 9700 card, at POST I get one long beep, followed by two short beeps.

I swap in another AGP card that is working perfectly in PC #2 and ... nothing. No POST no beep.

I go get a PCI video card and I am typing this message on the MPX2.

So, it appears that the AGP slot on my MPX2 has gone south.

How can I tell for sure?

Can you find replacements anywhere in USA?

How long is an RMA likely to take?

Thanks all for your thoughts on this matter ... best regards,
boggsi

Not sure on the RMA from IWILL as I've dealt with ABIT which is the best IMO for customer service.

RMA's usually have like a 3 week or maybe less turn around, but all depends on the manufacturer and what kind of warranty you have left on the mobo.

Here is the RMA request form (adobe pdf file).

I would check the 9700 in another pc just to be sure it still works fine.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I am going to 'tear down' the PC to bare minimum and try just AGP card and boot floppy, first.

I have cards in every slot, except for one of the 64-bit PCI slots and it just so happens, that today, one of my IDE drives in my data mirror, stopped working. Something else may, in fact, be afoot.
