Iwill KK266

Hello, I have an older system with an Iwill KK266-R motherboard. I remember there used to be a website that had info on this motherboard, i.e. which PCI slots shared IRQs and such.

I'm looking to install a new network adapter and I want to make sure it doesn't "interfere" with the network adapter I already have.

If anyone has information about the website, or what Iwill's website is, I'd really appreciate it.

I just found the iwill website, but all the .pdf manuals are not downloading for me.

If anyone has the shared PCI slot layout for the KK266-R, or knows of a website that might have this info, I'd really appreciate it.

This is as close as I can get. From here you can DL the manual (I tried it and the link was working). I DL'd the pdf. Let me know if the link is down again and I can post it where you can get to it.

You might also do a search at AMDMB.COM and see if you can find your information there. As far as installing a new network adapter, are you trying to run two NIC's?

Ever heard of Google??? I'm sure the kk266 faq pages are out there somewhere as there are lots of traces of it in google and altavista searches - you just need to be willing to dig deeper than me. In the mean time, go into your Bios setup, find the screen with IRQ setting options. Set PCI IRQ assignment to manual. YOu should be able to tell from that screen which slots share IRQs.
