Help! Looking for a hot deal on a CHEAP PC for Mom

Many of the systems posted as deals here are I believe overkill for Mom.

Mom needs a basic, modern PC to replace her p120 system which CRAWLS when she plays her internet bingo wordwomp or whatever it is on pogo.com. Aside from browsing, she emails and does a bit of wordprocessing.

Hoping someone can help me remember.....

Last year, around summertime, there was a thread for a company that was giving away sample laser etched windows, about the size of a floppy disk, for ~$1 shipped (think it went up to $2 after a while).

I got one of their sample windows, then ordered a 10" x 12" window for my case from them, but can't find my receipt for either of those purchases now. 🙁

I do remember that they were somewhere in Utah, if that helps. But can't remember their name, or website url.

If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it! 🙂

Anyone know where can get a decent scale for weighing packages up to around 40 lbs but be accurate for the lesser wieghts? And the kicker, a reasonable price?

I Wanna long distance calling card for domestic calls that does not expire, with a low cost of entry. A "virtual card" with the PIN sent online is OK.

I occasionally need to send faxes long distance using my fax machine, but I refuse to pay a monthly fee just to have a LD service active on my home phone.

I was going to just grab a $12.99, 60 minute card from old reliable Ma Bell (AT&T), but the $.22 per minute seems a little steep.

(My primary requirement is that it NEVER EXPIRES! If AT&T is the only way, I will pay the steep rate.)
