i'm looking for a case (1st time builder here) with 4 ram slots 2 ide slots and and 2 5 1/4 bay slots, plus floppy. how much should i expect to pay and where is the best place to buy from?
 
Cases don't have "ram slots" or "ide slots" bro. Motherboards do.

I need a hot deal on 2x or 4x dvd-r media. I bought a 10 pack of memorex 2x for $35.00 (ouch). For that much money, I'd want at least 20 disks or more..

So, can someone point me to a fast online retailer that has good quality 2x or 4x dvd-r blanks?
 
My brother is looking to buy new computer for himself. He dont need anything fancy or high-tech. He just needs it to surf the web mostly. He dont need a good Vid card, or large HD. Im looking in the $450 range with or without rebates. Also a descent brand name like Dell, Sony, HP, Compaq. Thanks

EDIT: Picked up a Lite-On 48x24x48 at PCClub for what was supposed to be 49.99...

The guy at the reg didn't notice that was after the rebate, rang it in at 49.99, then still gave me the 10 MIR form! YAY!

how about a good 60+ hard drive, maxtor or western digital, that requires no rebates. Something similar to like 1 dollar = 1 gig.

IWANNA...good deal on a 2 cubic foot fire safe. A black one with a keypad would be ideal, but I'm open to anything. It should have at least 1 hour of fire protection, but 2 would be best.

BTW, it would be great if it was one that a B&M store carried so I could PM and save on shipping! TIA
 
I'd like a good deal on 9V batteries. Willing to buy larger quantities for cheaper prices.
If possible, some NiMH ones, or ones that measure 9.5-10 volts or more in actuality.

Other than that, perhaps a good deal on a NAD c541i CD player (think around $350 new, or $300 used).

And perhaps an iPod (used or new), if there's a great deal floating around.

My harddrive died!!! I really need a replacement because I cannot turn on my computer (on roomie's computer rite now)... looking for a receipt for a Compaq MV520 monitor dated from October to present. I bought this monitor for rebate purposes and lost my receipt! *sob* Can someone PLEASE help me and scan a copy? I can't beleive I lost a receipt but not the upc code! Doesn't matter what store the monitor was bought. thank you and God bless!
