I know one option being pricematch at Sears, but in my area , they are very choosy and they do PM only to selected stores which has almost same price as suggested retail by Sony.

If somebody has got it previously from sears at decent price then they will give me without asking any question.

I'm looking for a good deal on the Sony DCR-TRV17 digital camcorder. Unfortunatelly, I'm a student and don't have an Amex blue, so getting the very best deal is out of the question in my case.

I've been looking at a few places, and this is what I came up with:

Safe place: J and R - $975 with tax, shipped to preferred customer
Risky place: BlueLightDigital - $820.80 shipped

First question...Does anyone know of a way to get this camera for closer to $750 or so?
Second question...The $820 pricetag at BlueLightDigital is OK, but I would like to know if anyone here has dealt with them and if so, what the experience was like. I can't find them on resellerratings.

Would certainly appreciate some help with this. 🙂

I need to put together a stereo system for about $500. I need speakers, a dual cassette deck, a turntable, cd player and a receiver (or amp and tuner). Looking for demo models, or refurbished items. Or hot deals on new items. Suggestions are highly appreciated.

NO!!! I bought a Playstation One as a christmas gift for some undeserving relatives of mine but things worked out so that my family ended up not giving the gift to them (we got them something else). The plan was to return the thing after the Christmas crunch but now, my swamp of a room has swallowed the receipt!!!
