four I wanna's for the price of one:

1- I wanna 19" monitor that can run 1600x1200 @75 that I can have on my desk for $200-225. Last I wanna thread I asked that and someone answered, but the deal was gone before I checked PM's over the weekend.

2- Someone to give me a ranking of the manufacturers of CDRW media from top (best) to bottom (use them to throw at people), and a decent place to lay hands on the good ones dirt cheap (several threads on these, but without knowing the manufacturer's quality they don't help). Also want them either with slim cases or a good deal on the slimline cases.

3- Someone to list for me (or find me a comprehensive link) explaining all of the different GeForce models, from low end up through the top (which I think is the Geforce 2 Ultra 64 MB). I've gathered that Hercules and Leadtek are two of the most reputable makers. My current card is a Hercules Guillemot Geforce Prophet DDR 32 MB about 14 months old, and it wasn't cutting edge then.

4- Cheap Windows OS deals. I have a copy of Win 98 of dubious provenance that came when I bought my comp from a custom building coworker (don't think was a reputable dealer) and an upgrade to WinME, interested in full (OEM is fine) Win98SE or WinME.

Looking for a good price on a mother-in-law computer. Where can I customize everything without having to build it myself? Any good web-merchants?
 
I see from your rigs that many of you guys have broadband connections. I just got signed up for one nd I was wondering where the best deal is. I have a USB DSL modem and the service is running $38.90/month for the DSL connection and ISP. Let me know if you have found better deals out there and who to use. As a side note, does any one know if Netzero will work with DSL??? Sorry about my naivete, I just got into the forums.
 
i am looking for a good price on a cheap ass monitor. like 15". This is for another comp im building that will hold linux, its just a side comp so nothing expensive

I'm looking for a good laptop, preferably a little older. I want to use it for doing business work (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and programs like that. I don't think it needs to be more then 500 mhz. PM me if you know of any good deals.

I bought the VTech Helio PDA from CompUSA which had a $50.00 rebate. I photocopied everything except the rebate form. Could someone scan me a copy of it or tell me how I can get the contact information for the rebate center?
