Looking for a hot deal on a personal laser for under $400.

Saw the recent deal on the Superscript 1400 ($240 shipped), BUT it only has 4MB memory, PCL4, and is not upgradeable.

Still might get it, at that price I could just throw it away when it needs a new cartridge and I'd still be ahead.

Front Runners right now are: HP 1100, and Optra 312E (Postscript for PCL 6 and postscript for under $360!)

However I hate the look of those gravity feed models with their paper hanging out all over the place.

Seriously considering a used HP 5m from www.secondwindpc.com ($389 + shipping); it would be really sweet to just hang it on my home network.

No, Live VALUE cards have a digital out. You need a live--x-gamer or mp3--those are probably on clearance at alot of places now that 5.1 is out.
