Cheap CRT (or LCD I suppose if it's really cheap). Refurb okay. Just need to slap it onto a spare system and it's not worth fixing my 17" CRT. I never seem to have the right timing to pick up any of the CRT deals that pop up every so often.
 
Looking for an inexpensive laptop/notebook to buy for my parents. Used primarily for e-mail and very basic photo editing, printing etc. Even the most basic system would suit their needs. Anybody seen one below $500 yet?

Now that the 512MB deals are insane, what about 1GB sticks? I'd like to get 2GB (2x1GB) sticks because if 1GB is good, 2GB is even better! CL2.5 or better would be nice, too.

I'm looking for an external USB hard drive. Preferably 120GB or higher.

Best Buy had a 120GB for $80 but I wasn't sure if that was a good deal.
