I couldn't watch the vid after seeing the Mitt Romney ad, grrarrhahhh!
You're not missing much. The guy in the video is a huge douche
One great thing about Ivy Bridge is that the I3's will be overclockable with a 133mhz bus meaning a 3.4Ghz I3 will clock up to 4.5Ghz
Going for a 3570K for myself. Upgrading from an i7-860.
A small upgrade. I don't know why you'd waste efforts in it even if you overclock, to be honest.
As far as multi-threading goes it's a marginal 5-10% improvement and in single-threaded it's a 20-30% improvement.
NDA from Intel is always lifted at 12AM.

Does IB still run cooler than SB when not overclock. I was waiting for IB just because I heard it was supposed to run cooler and uses less power. If it that's not the case I'll just get SB if there's no other advantage IB have over SB
Cooler, not quite but I can't tell very well as I don't have a SB to compare with. If you are not overclocking at all, IB is still a better choice. Temps are probably the same as SB and power consumption will definitely be lower.Does IB still run cooler than SB when not overclock.
