do you think i should update my bios maybe? I just know typically when you run games you get a bit of some tearing to allow better frames, and usually when you start getting into frames 100+, the tearing is so minimal that it almost looks like you have V sync on, but thats not the case with my comp. It seems the higher the frames get i still get the same results (tearing more than normal). And kind of sketchy as i posted earlier, you probably know what i mean when i say sketchy (when the picture gets a little skippy.

Ultimately it just may as well be me, but then again maybe not, we'll see. Oh yeah, which one of these bios should i download, if i really even need to download one.

BIOS updates never hurt anyone... Even if that's not the reason, which I believe it isn't, flashing a new BIOS will improve stability, may give you even more features, and might yield you with higher overclocks...

I have no idea what mobo revision you have eh... check your manual, you'll probably find it in there, but if you really want to be sure, open that case and start searching for it on your mobo...

Their Diamond Flash Image looks easy... If you don't trust a "floppy flash", you could go with WinFlash as well...

Actually to be honest with you, I haven't got an idea about what you mean by "sketchy"... The stuttering you describe never happened to me, but I read from several forums that an update of NF4 chipset drivers helped if games were stuttering... So I would suggest you to do so too...

EDIT: Looks like there's only one PCB revision at the moment, so not a tough choice...

I've finally figured out my problem with my stability in games, My ram timings were way too tight. I had them at 2-2-2-5 ddr454, so i changed them to 2-2-2-7 ddr454, and everything is smooth. Its amazing what one stupid little thing like that could do.

I know this is a very late reply, but changing the timings from 2-2-2-5 to 2-2-2-7 did make a little difference, but i found out the real problem.

When i set the timings in the bios i accidently flip flopped one of the timigs. When i checked everest the timing showed up as:
2-7-2-2. When i had these timings games still ran just a tad better, but then i tried running my computer stock and loaded optimized defaults so my computer was at max speed stock everything was way way way better. It wasn't my overclock it was my timings the whole time. At default the ram showed up as 2-3-3-6 under everest. I then went back into the bios and changed just the ram to spec 1.5-2-2-5 and my stock aquamark score from when my computer was first stock with the timings 1.5-5-2-2 went from 79k to 81k+ just by flip floppying the timings.

So really the problem was; was that one timing was too slow and the other was too fast. My mistake.
