Yep. I remember my first taste of AntiAliasing. For glide-specific games stuck at 640x480 it was a world of difference!

Yeah, on second thought, this is the biggest jump in performance in quite some time. Desktop CPU power has been stuck at a sort of plateau for quite a while now, short of the dual-core introduction which has sort of specialized benefits.

Since I recently built my X2 rig less than a year ago, I'm happy with it, but I could see how people who have been waiting awhile for more CPU power are very excited. For me, it means AMD's are back down to reasonable prices...
