I've never seen Gone with the Wind.

I have never seen it. I noticed it in new bluray releases on Netflix so I am going to give it a watch.

Just wondering how many other people have never seen it?

It's supposed to be one of the greatest movies ever. Still, at almost four hours in length it may be a while before I watch it...

It's a good movie, but it's long, and you have to be in the right mood for it.

That said, Rhett Butler is the fucking MAN.

I'm not afraid to say that's it horribly slow and has some of the most cheesy romantic scenes in history. I can understand why people would like it thought but I don't.

i have the blu ray if you want to come over and check it, it is my wife's , she is a huge fan

I saw it when I was in 5th grade. I guess I recall it being a pretty good movie, but then again, I don't ever recall a time where I've had the urge to watch it again.

I've never been a big fan of those old movies, but sitting through GWTW made me squirm more than many others.

Over-rated.

I'll give you a rundown. Popular girl is a bitch to everybody. Gone with the wind has one of the worst female protagonist in all forms of fiction. She treats everybody terrible and we're suppose to feel sorry for her? Bitch got what's coming to her.

Yep, after Colonel Angus went off to war, no one was quite up to facing the old man in the canoe.

I finally saw it when I was in my mid-late 20s. Awesome movie. Wish I had watched it sooner instead of being an idiot and assuming it would suck because it was an old movie only my parents would like.

Good movie, I've seen it a couple of times and always enjoyed it. Of course I'm older and don't have ADD, so you mileage may vary.

What's the point in re-releasing these old movies on Blue Ray? The res can only be as good as the original film right? I can't imagine they'd be able to make the Blue Ray version look better than the DVD version.
