The funny thing is if Hitler had won he wouldnt be considered evil. He'd be a hero and a new type of leader. Gassing jews would not even have been a major issue.

America massacred tons of indians and even though somebody brings it up from time to time, we are never considered evil.
 
And that slavery thing has also been mostly forgotten.

But where Hitler truly shone, was in efficiency.
It's not difficult to match the total number of deaths caused during a reign, but Hitler only reigned for slightly more than a decade. It's the industrialized murder that probably makes him stand out among his peers. And starting a war of aggression. Both of these deserve a stigma of evilness greater than usual.

I dont think slavery is as bad as genocide. My beef is that these things are being forgotten too easily.

Then theres the asian citizens during world war 2, all the horrible shit we did in Vietnam, arguably whats being going on in the middle east since 1989....

The winners always look good, no matter what they actually did.
