I've lost thirty pounds in 3 weeks

They gave me oxy, didn't do a thing for me. Neither did percocet and one other that I can't recall the name of.

Removing the gallbladder does not always solve gallstone formation and sometimes creates more problems, such as malabsorption of lipids. This problem can somewhat be corrected by supplementing with bile acids. Though there is a chance for bile sludge or stones to become stuck in the common bile duct, even without a gallbladder.

Bile is actually created in the liver, some gallstones even form there. The gallbladder is only a holding tank for bile, injecting it upon lipid ingestion.

So make sure to also change your diet, increase your magnesium intake, eat more soluble fiber (oatmeal, legumes, flaxseed etc.) bitter herbs, lecithin, and apples for its malic acid content. Nutritional advice is usually not dispensed by doctors.

Thanks for the advice.

I was able to tell the surgery at least helped since I was able to eat something.

I haven't been able to eat anything for 3 weeks without severe stomach pain.

Yeah, it does majorly suck. I am glad you are feeling better.

When I had my first attack, I had no idea what it was. I went into the spare bedroom so I wouldn't wake up my wife and rode it out. Intense pain, vomiting, etc.

The second one I realized what it was after about 10 minutes but didn't want to admit it to myself. Took some antacids and a hot shower and the realization sank in.
Didn't want to wake the wife so I figured I'd drive myself to the hospital and wait in the parking lot to see how bad it got. Figured if it got bad I'd go in and get looked at.
I barely made it there. They treated me but wouldn't let me leave without a ride, told me to call wife, I didn't. They told me I would have to wait in the waiting room. I figured that was great cause I'd leave as soon as I got out there. There were on to me and made me wait in the treatment room till my wife got there. Had to call her at four in the morning and wake her up.

good job man! im 183 to 147 . it feels great to have comtrol

You going for the Ethiopian look? Im at 182 5'10" and if I was to go to 175 I look like a toothpick. You need to add some muscle or something. I just can't imagine 147 being a healthy weight.

I'm only 5'8" and my BMI is 22.3 which is considered normal. plus its easy to put back on, not to lose.

Good luck with your recovery.

This, feel better soon! 🙂

Watch out with those percocets, btw. Take addictive medications like opioids and benzos exactly as directed, since doubling your dose just to feel a high raises tolerance and makes the prescribed dosage less effective for relieving pain, sometimes permanently in the case of opioids.

Never put that oxy/perc up your nose, sticking to the oral ROA and using as little as possible is the best way to avoid addiction to prescribed opiates/benzos/stimulants.
