Iraq didn't have nuclear weapons. Iraq WAS invading neighbors. Iraq didn't have an estimated 100,000 artillery rounds they could dump on an allied city of 10 million people before we could make a meaningful response. Iraq isn't on China's doorstep. When we went into Iraq, we weren't trying to get out of a recession caused in part by the expenditure of $1.4T+ on other recent wars. There's no terrorists coming from in or around North Korea for us to use as justification. Iraq didn't have a standing army of 1 million men with another 8 million in reserve.
