I just looked at the number of posts I have ~ 4110 and realize that my NEF ("diamond member") status won't change for sometime. So I've got the blues. Anyone experience this?? The goal is "Lifer" status but so far, it seems unreachable right now.
 
I have almost double your post count and I consider myself a LOSER! 😉

it is not the title it is the state of mind!
 
I know the feeling. Just be diligent. Keep wasting your time here in OT, and you'll be a Lifer before you know it. Sell some stuff in FS/FT. The periodic bumps really help your post count.

im a newbie and boy do i have a long way to go..!

This is my first forum and i think it's great. I reached 100 posts the other day and it felt vewy nice indeedy.

I think it's gonna take me a lifetime to acheive 'lifer' status

So, what comes after 'lifer'.... ?

I think "life" is the last but there are other "special" status changes that must be earned through other various means.

"elite member"
"Moderator"
"ATOT Court Jestor"
"Offical ATOT Drama Queen"
etc...

but i feel they should change lifer to no-life
 
i felt that way, way back when but then i pulled off 2000 posts in 2 weeks and got myself tenured so its all good now


there shoule be something at like 5000 tho IMHO
 
At your current pace of 2.93 posts per day, you will reach lifer status in 2,010 days or 5.5 years.

I disagree. I think that Lifer status should be keep for an unlimited number of posts like some kind of badge of dishonor. If after 25k+ posts a member hasn't earned some type of special title or distinction for forum contribution, then Lifer is what they deserve.

But then again, I should be careful what I post, lest karma strike me down and humble me. At my current rate I will reach Lifer status by the spring of 05 😉
