I've got an idea

The device is called a BlackOut box.

You plug it in, flip on the switch and blow the fuses in the home. Black out the house with it.

Lots of applications:
1.
Put a sign on it that says: Don't flip the switch!
and plug it into someone's home.
2.
Plug it into the external outlets of someone's home and flip the switch.
3.
Take it to a ball park, plug it into an outlet. Flip the switch if your team is losing.

and more.

Any comments?

How much power would you have to send through a stadium outlet to blow the fuse?

Also, how can you blow all the fuses in anything? I thought part of the point of them was to have the house segmented on different fuses.

a kid i went to school with had made one...it was kinda cool the first time

but after that it was just annoying

Correct. Thought of the same things.

Maybe if the switch just simply closes an open connection to ground. Man, think of the electricity bill when that thing flips on.
