I've got a spammer's reply-to scam address. How can I get him tons of spam?

I got an unsolicited email that tries to trick me into replying to it, so I know the reply to address has to be legit, or there'd be no point for them sending out this email. Is there somewhere I can sign this email address up for some spamming of it's own?

For what it's worth, the address is mindy69@cranfield.ac.uk, and the body of the email said

<< Fred,

It was nice to talk to you today I will send the proposal tonight.

Thanks,
Heidi

My name's not Fred, and anyone that's sending me proposals should know that periods or semicolon's go between 2 complete thoughts. 🙂

Put the email address into as many places as you can (basically spam it!). Put it on popular newsgroups, forums (like /.), webpages, etc. Then visit pr0n sites and sign them up for the newsletters and stuff. Enter them into contests and stuff. Go to places like freethings.com or something and sign them up there.

Dang, I was hoping it'd be easier to get them spammed. Signing up for deals takes forever, and I'm 17, so I can't (legally) go to porn sites.

I guess I'll just settle for posting it to slashdot and such.

Hmmm... this reminds me of a Simpsons quote:

Lisa Dad, you can't drive. He's got your license!
Homer I've got to try anyway <starts car> it worked!

do you think maybe somebody just made a mistake and sent the message to you instead of fred? why not send them a message saying that instead of being an ass?

I received the same E-mail today. Looks to be spam to me too!

You're in bed with the spammers! 😛

Is that the return email?

Spammers almost never put their real email address. It's usually a made up address and in a worse case, it's somebody else's email. I've got a few "delivery failed" emails from some ISP that I never sent. Well somebody was sending out spams using my email address as their "from" address...

I got a VERY simular unsolicited message (from a different addy though)

Mike,

Thanks again for lunch it was great!

Best regards,

Steve

<< oh well, guess i was wrong. That is what i would have done, but I'm a pretty trusting (read: niave) person >>

I wouldn't worry about it. You'll probably get farther in life trusting people than I will not believing a single thing anyone says to me.

I'll just be the one getting less spam. 🙂
