and whats the difference when i see pc2-3200 or pc3200? anything?

Nope, I picked up another gig of PC6400 Corsair XMS2 and it runs and that speed regardless of what the initial RAM beside it is running at.

wait, I did not think that ddr2 went that slow (that looks like ddr speeds). Anyways, I would be careful as Some manufactures conveniently make it so only their type of ram will work with their computers (anyways that is how it is with my mothers 10 year old HP Pavilion). Other then that you should be fine.

i didnt think it ran at that speed either, but i made him run cpu-z and sure enough, it stated he was running ddr2.

all ram whether it be ddr...ddr2...etc...runs at whatever the lowest common denominator is....
