I've got a $350 travel credit from an airline...

I posted this thread a little while ago.

After I posted, I wrote a big email to the airline telling them about the situation and why I was upset.

I got a response just under a month later, and they reitterated that they were not liable for the damage and would not offer to pay for the cost of fixing the screen ($100 maybe to ship it to Apple?). Then said they would give me a $350 travel credit to try to make up for the poor experience.

Figure that one out...

Anyway, I phoned to make sure I could do this, but the credit is transferable to anyone.

Should I just try to sell it to someone? I have nowhere to fly. The credit is good for one year.

Sure, sell it.

I never could understand why airlines offer more flights to make up for a crappy experience. If it was that bad the first time why would anyone want to repeat it?

Looks like the pilots tried to get at your alcohol, bummer. Nobody will buy it, at least not for much. Take a short weekend trip somewhere.
