I have decided that there are NO good free webservers. f2s seemed good, but it has slowed down soo much lately. So, I'm lookin for some CHEAP commercial space...I only need like 15-25MB, but I need CGI/Perl 5, PHP, and FTP support. You guys know of anything out there?

well AOL gives 2 MB...and I highly doubt it supports perl. My main ISP is seganet...I don't think they provide any.

I don't know any major isp's that give you free webspace with php, perl and ftp.

Your darn lucky if your isp gives you unlimited transfer still (some of the big guys do, btw).

Hint: Get cable, run your own server, and use dynamic dns to handle the domain name. Its not that hard to do.

Well, sometime over the summer I'd like to get DSL or Cable and try running my own server, that's my ultimate goal, but until I can convince my parents to get it, I'm stuck with 56K. My parents are dumb....I'm paying 21.95/month for seganet, they're paying 21.95/month for AOL, why not combine them and get cable/dsl???? argh...but anyway...I just need something to hold me over until then.

Ladytech: Yup, I got that e-mail as well. I need to start a new webpage from scratch anyway. :)
