I love em! But they are pretty expensive around here in comparison to other nuts so I rarely buy them. I think it's somewhere around $5-$7 for a small bag.

Yep I just bought a fairly large bag and they were $7.99...way more than any other nut besides macadamias...but worth it!
 
They used to always be dyed red, and came mostly from Iran. When Iran got on our shit list, natural colored pistachios from California became popular, and you almost never see red ones anymore. Good thing. Coloring nuts is stupid, and they left red shit all over your fingers.
