I've decided to quit..

I've decided to quit using internet acronyms. In my early 20's I started forming complete sentances both on online forums and in internet chat, but this is a whole new step.

No more LOL, WTF, FTW, icic, none of that 🙁

It's going to be hard. I might try the patch. Maybe we can start a support group? So if anyone spots me using a cheesy internet acronym please send a vulgar private message. Regular acronyms are fine, for what it's worth.

What about fun Army acronyms like BOHICA, AWR, and ATFU?

Those are fine.

It's to late, it has been thrown into the fires of Mount Doom.

The patch won't work at all, but this has had atleast a 3% success rate.

Good luck.

You're not helping, instinctively I wanted to laugh out loud.

Well, while you're at it, you might as well work on avoiding all of the typical to/too/two, your/you're, and there/their/they're mistakes. 😛

An excellent resource.

Blah, I don't need your resource. I've been about 100% in the you're/your department, but still mess up to/too. Good point though, I'll work on it.

Thank you. This is actually fairly tough. It's even tougher on instant messanger since the chat rate is faster.

its really quite easy to not use any acronyms except "wtf" and "lol" for me. I'm kind of moving away from "lol" since half the time I type it, I didn't actually laugh out loud. So while chatting I tend to type "hehe" "heh" or something similar. That being said, "wtf" simply can't be replaced.
