I've been traveling for over a month now... make it stop

How do you feel about working with horses? I could probably get you a job in MD, and a cheap place to stay. It wouldn't pay much, but if you're smart, you may be able to supplement that with engineering/CAD work.

The tech interview for the $100k job didn't go well. I didn't like the guy I was interviewing with (he had only been at the company for less than a month and wasn't the person I was originally supposed to interview with), he asked very poor questions, and was only looking for a very specific set of answers. Knowing his original jobs, I should have guessed what his personality would be like... and I did. He was extremely monotone and very boring. I couldn't imagine working with him and being happy.

It also became clear that the goal of the company was not as altruistic as I thought it was and things started to fit a pattern.

Unfortunate. I'll be trying to go with the other company for lower pay as I am tired of interviewing at this point. I have many places that want to interview me but I'm too tired of interviewing.

I've also gotten sick again this month. It is weighing heavily on me.

Screw altruism. I'd club baby seals for 100k.

Because most of us think you are full of shit.

Well, I'm not. I've encountered these types of people before. A lot of people just think they're smarter/better than me and it rubs off in these interviews. Clearly, this guy was one of those people. He had something to prove and anything that wasn't his solution was obviously suboptimal. (Regardless of my time and space complexity being equal to or better than his)

altruistic?

Are you looking to work for a non-profit?

Since nothing else is happening in this thread... What's your ethnic background? You look Romanian to me.
it's been years since I saw that pic (or has one been posted in this thread?) and I only remember the haircut. Could be anything really.

LOL are you seriously judging the workplace based on the person interviewing you? Who cares how they look, or what their personality is like etc. Just do your best. If that job truly was 100k (I really doubt it lol) then you are insane for rejecting it.

Considering the engineering team is 5 people, yes. I'd be working closely with these people everyday. If they're fucking annoying then I don't want to work with them. The people interviewing me in these small companies are people I'd be working with everyday.

he is smarter/better than you - he has a career.

If you can't swallow your pride for an hour for $130k/year, you are a moron.

But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you are full of shit.

if he was a scrub, holy shit i can't even fathom how low on the totem pole you are.

Our owner wears jeans and Tshirts every day. For meetings he throws on a beat to hell corduroy blazer.

He's worth millions and is the nicest guy you could ever hope to work for.
