I've been reading mixed commentary

5850 = 170W max (stock), so you're at 340W + 200W (conservative cpu+ram estimate). You'll have basically 0 margin if you assume 100% load on everything, since the EA650 can only supply 540W on +12V. I would seriously consider spending more than $75 on a psu powering $600 worth of video cards (perhaps 600W+ on the combined 12V rails).

would that perhaps be a better alternative? I know little to nothing about psu's unforutnately.

The Rosewill should work if you put the CPU and each GPU on a different 12V rail. I've never really been a fan of PSUs with 3+ 12V rails though cuz for me it's a pain to try and balance them.

I don't know if I'd buy a Rosewill PSU though, most of their "accessory" type products are pretty poorly made, and this PSU doesn't have stellar reviews.

I was actually looking at the antec one right before I clicked the suggestion forit.. I think its the way I am gunna go.. i just hate price juggling. I never want to make any snap decisions about components.. but, the way the market fluxuates it seems almost pointless to try and pre determine what to get x.x

Well, if you're not in any hurry, there's no harm in spacing out purchases by a few days to get the deals, especially since there's free shipping on some items.

Lol. If i was ina hurry there wouldn't be a problem. I would be set to get witha s et price.

Right now if one deal ends the price goes up. If another deal ends the price goes up. I am more waiting for a check than anything..

Well, you'll probably want to wait a bit anyways - I'm not so sure the 955 will be the best match for $300-600 worth of vid card(s), overclocked or not. I don't keep up with cpu reviews, but suffice it to say I think at least a few people here might tell you to reconsider this setup to avoid a cpu bottleneck.
