I've been looking for a job for weeks!

I have seriously been looking for a job for overy the past 3 weeks, and applied at so many places and didn't get any reply, becase they say they have too many applicants and a lot of workers. I used to do ebay two years ago, that was ok, but i need to do something to make money, I have tons of expenses coming up this fall for college, etc. Any helpful ideas? It is kind of hard for me to make money on ebay anymore, does anybody have any ideas? Thanks a lot, your tips are appreciated!

if there is a USAA near you try working for them. their pay isn't bad and they will reimburse you for part or all of your tuition.

By the way, im almost 19 years old, and am going off to college, I graduated from high School a week ago at the top 2% of my class. I took mostly AP classes, and i have a 4.0 gpa. Can that help with the search?

my test scores were decent, but even with the scholorship i am getting, it is not enough to pay for my college. I wanted to attend depaul university where after the scholorships and financial aid, i still have to pay 15000 dollars and my entire families income is only 18000 a year, so there is no way for the 3000 dollars left a year will last the family of 5 for food, rent, expenses, etc (not to mention debts we have).

Try the local Drug store. Usually turnover is pretty high, and they tend to be willing to give people a shot.
