Yea I just assume anyone who keeps their cellphone on vibrate for any length of time (~1 year straight) gets that.

And I'm 100% positive it has to do with your body subconsciously picking up on the cell phone signal. Because when I got my new smart phone over my dumb phone, the smart phone throws out way more signal, which I knew about.

But it felt like I was constantly getting a call, especially while driving and there was a burst of signal as it changed between towers etc.

Instead of "buzz buzz" which was always accurate on my old phone (phantom vibrate when it was on silent, actually getting a call anyway) the smart phone was like "buz... buz.. bu..... buz..... buzzzzzzz..... buz.... bu..... buz." to the extent that its actually annoying and I don't carry it in my pocket much.

AFAIK its just your brain playing tricks on you. It senses the burst of cell signal that normally indicates a call and you'll hallucinate vibrate or your ringtone.

Weird... lol I didn't know it was so common. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I kill digital watches and all modern cars shock the fuck out of me when I touch them?

I’ve had this in my room for about 2 years now, it comes from different areas of my room, at random times, different variations of vibrations, more frequently on some days than others. I don’t know where it’s coming from, I’ve searched and there’s nothing anywhere. Honestly have no idea what it is but if you ever find out let me know

My old nokia 5160 did it more than any smart phone I've ever had. I'd get this sense my phone was about to ring if I was by my computer the speakers would pop then it would ring. I get the phantom ring every now and then with my smart phones but nothing like that old nokia when it would actually ring. I freaked my buddy out when we were waiting on a phone call one time, I was like here he is before it rang.

I’ve heard this “cellphone” buzzing noise in my walls before and it started when I was 14. I used to live in an apartment with my mom back in 2012-2016. The tenants above, below, and beside us all moved out and moved in at various times. So no one actually stayed. However, the wall I would hear it in was in the middle of the apartment (in the middle of the bedroom and living room) and I would hear this buzzing noise at the same time of the day. It would happen for about 10 seconds. And possible again the day after. Then I wouldn’t hear it (or at least notice it) for a while. Then later hear it again. It kept happening here and there from 2012-2016. And I’m not saying ghosts are real, I’m a skeptic but I’m open minded to the idea; but when we initially moved in, I believe I saw a woman in all white in the hallway peak out at me and then close the door to the hallway. Now I’ve brushed it off since then because if I dwell on the idea too long I’ll just spook myself, especially when I was living there. Not really anything else was out of the ordinary besides that.

Listening to The Chemical Brothers - "A Midnight Conversation" from the album "We Are the Night" would always make it sound like my iPhone 6S Plus was vibrating in the car door. Uncanny how convincing and repeatable it is.
