I've been finding these weird bugs

I found one yesterday, while watching TV in the dark. It was thrashing against the monitor like a moth, I whacked it quick and chopped it in half with a PCI slot cover :D

One just woke me up. I kept a can of Raid in my room as a precaution, and as soon as I heard the same clicking/thrashing noise of bug+plastic, I grabbed it and went straight for the nightlight, I could see it was floating around inside there. I gassed it very quickly, and it keeled over. Since this one is unsquished, I managed to get a picture:

What the FUCK is it? It looks like a lady bug because of the spots on the wings, but it's not red. It's also much creepy crawlier looking than a lady bug. So it's not a lady bug.

Just to get it out of the way, no man card revocation is required here. I am known amongst female friends as the bug squisher, nothing is more satisfying than hearing a cockroach crunch under your fist. The only bugs I actually fear are spiders, because dangerous ones exist in FL (everywhere, fuck) and their venom + their size is a nasty thing. So yes I'm an arachnophobe, ridicule away, just help me figure out what this fucker is.

Are they growing inside my apartment? Or are they somehow getting inside. They attracted to something? My room looks like a typical nerds room, usually a bunch of empty soda cans lying around. But we take out the trash, and clean things over every week or two, so we never see any crawling critters except for the odd cockroach (only 3 since we moved in last September, I kept #3 lying there in his squashed glory as a reminder to his brethren of what happens when a cockroach makes its presence known to me), which is to be expected in an apartment and even more so in FL.

weird color, but I'd say that's a June Bug, they are annoying and blind or something. they will fly around bumping into any and everything, making a ton of noise. I only see them in the Summer and they're usually a brown/red but I can't think of any other bug, it looks just like one besides that.

that's a pretty small one, if in fact it is a June Bug. Out here they get much larger, there's nothing like sleeping soundly and having a huge one fly full speed into your bedroom window waking you up. It's like they were put on this earth to bump into as much shit as possible and no other reason.

does it look like an orange and black lady bug? I forget what they are called but my friend used to get an infestation every winter. Pissed him off so much.

Asian Beetles?

We get them also and they are annoying.

Not really bad other then if you ever smack one away they stink like hell and some people get bitten by them but it's rare.

Other then the color it kind of looks like a Japanese beetle. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_beetle

Japanese beetles are fucking lame and need to die. They swarm and eat select types of plants like my raspberry bushes when I was younger. Some dish soap and water in a bowl will probably kill them. Careful with the raid spray man, you're going to give yourself a tumor!

Is the rug woven out of dog hair, or just covered in it?

those are pubic hairs.

Actually nothing in either picture is hair, the carpet is just annoying. If it were a picture of my bathroom floor........;)

There is one hair in those pictures (against the baseboard), and it's from my head; my hair is long as fuck right now. The dog fur/pubes looking stuff is actually FROM THE CARPET. It's annoying, it's as if it "sheds"

It's definitely not a June bug. So, it is a lady bug?

I just rubbed my hand across the floor and a medley of brown, white, and black fibers are on my hand now. The damn carpet sucks; it "sheds." Vacuuming makes it worse because it rips more loose (fucking Dyson).

EDIT: WHO THE FUCK HAS PUBES THAT LONG?!
