Ive been at work for 4 hours now

yeah, the office is usually empty on Friday's here. Everyone "works from home".

I have about 20 minutes of work to do that i will drag out through the entire day. Read AT and watch my stock portfolio tank the rest of the time

Though, i've only been here 2 hours.
 
normally its not this bad even on friday, actually im getting bored now, something fed up on the floor so production has been down all day
 
Bah, I only made about $80 by the four hour mark during the summer. However, I went weeks at a time (literally) with nothing to do. Thank god for a cash strapped city hiring summer students to do nothing😉.

However @ $50/hour (unless you have a house, child support, etc.) the gummint just got $66 for doing even less! (State gummint mileage may vary)

Welcome to my normal day....

Though I've been doing 12 hour days this week... so I get time and a half for everything over 8 hours a day. Even better!!! 🙂
 
Same here! 😀 I print out some complicated charts and reports about every 30 minutes and my boss thinks I'm swamped. I finished my work unusually early this week, and anyone that works in an office environment knows the rule "never say you finished your work early, or your boss will think you can squeeze more into the day."
 
I've maybe actually worked 3-4 hours since I came back from my surgery. That was over a month ago.

To clarify, I've been at work for my normal shift, but I've only done about 3-4 hours of actual work.
 
Same here except I made $250... well at the end of the day I will. It sure feels good when I think about it.

i agree. unfortunately i have to go out, sit in my truck and finish programming a booster site out in the middle of nowhere... sigh.
 
Here is a breakdown of what I did today:

- Came in 20 minutes late at 8:20 AM pffft
- Napped for a good 2 hours in my cube (and I dreamed about a badass girl too, I think she was Italian, not sure though, will have to wait for the next nap to find out!)
- Woken up, got significant work down from then till lunch break
- Went back home, relaxed for 1 hour and a 15 minutes
- Came back to work
- Played around with our latest Robot for 30 minutes or so.
- Went back to my cube TRANCED IT UP while Neffing for an hour
- And then napped for 30-45 minutes
- Now I am back to neffing

I actually did something you call work at work today... and what do ya know, I'm an engineer too 😛.
