the volume of food really hasn't changed much, maybe a little more.
but ever since i started doing 3 shakes/day and more meats, i've been crapping twice, sometimes 3x a day, as opposed to once a day before.
normal i presume.

happened to me. But I think i attribute it more to my metabolism increasing...as I really try to eat every 3hrs or so

It's normal, and it's healthy. If it's more liquid then solid then you might want to adjust a little.

I agree. I don't do protein shakes and I crap 3-4x a day when I work out regularly instead of 1-2.

5 seems excessive. I go once, maybe twice a day. If it's not a full deuce, or if it's runny or hard, I would recommend a good fiber supplement, taken at the same time every day, to provide good bulk for big, smooth dumps.

Some of the ingredients in protein bars/drinks (if you are taking any) can act as laxatives. Foods high in fiber can also increase the frequency of daily bowel movements.

5 was definately the exception not the norm. 3 is about average. They are spaced out throughout the day.

I make sure to get plenty of fiber in my diet through cereals and fiber enriched bread. If anything, I may be getting too much fiber.

this raises an almost philosophical question.

is it even possible to thread crap, in a thread about crapping ?

and, how can Americans spend $1 million on a house and not get a bidet ?
if i was an executive at Toll Brothers, i'd be asking these kinds of questions.
