I voted yes because I got my car's shell for $1000 from CA. My MP3 player (yet to be installed) consist of a 7" xenarc, miniATX system, opus PSU and software cost more.

very hard to get mp3 player to be more expensive than your car... try a new poll w/ cost of your computer is more than your car, you will likely get ALOT more yes's.

my computer - see sig, upgraded since then, ~$1200 street value.
My mp3 player is a $25 fm modulator that i can plug my $50 512mb sandisk flash drive into.

my friend has 2 20" apple cinema displays flanking a 23" one. Couple that w/ the 1TB raid 5 server he had... I'd say that cost close to my old camry.

as for the mp3 player... if I bought the largest ipod photo... it would have been more than I paid for my mx6 way back when (thank god for very giving cousins )

My Gmini ran me $350 and my mountain bike is above 1k now with mods. No car yet. I am holding off because I don't really have a huge need for one. It would be very convenient to have one but I save alot of money without one.
