He's saying:

1. ESPN led the charge on the media waves that tOSU was going to crush FLA
2. People were buried with this thought and it became the prevailing public sentiment
3. FLA crushed tOSU
4. ESPN goes on the air askign where people got the crazy idea tOSU would crush FLA5. Fin

If that's what ESPN/Patrick said, than sure. But I don't see how you get that from:

"Dan Patrick just a little while ago pushing for a playoff system - "And how many people didn't even tune into the game last night because they thought Ohio St was going to destroy Florida?"

Yes, ESPN and all the other media outlets assumed OSU would crush Florida. But why be upset that he was wondering how many people didn't tune in? Doesn't really make sense to me. Someone enlighten me :(

If Patrick was wondering why people didn't tune in, THEN i'd be :disgust:

Heh, I can't stand ESPN. Although I have been chuckling lately with the bad press and complete disrespect Alabama has been getting lately. A friend of mine, who is unfortunately a Bama fan, mentioned that he can now sympathize with Auburn fans regarding media bias. :)
