im normally allergic to amd but this has me tempted. has anyone used this board and experienced the buzzing that someone in the review did? does anyone kmow what the fastest supported chip is? it sort of souncs like it doesnt support quad core

In for one, would have bought two if the rebate allowed it, HTPC and carputer.

Guessing $39 (calif tax and I never count a rebate until I cash the check) will be the least of this system cost, but I've been waiting for a long time to build a new system.

Thinking low power is a 4850e a good choice?

Any suggestions on other related parts?

an athlon 235e or 240e or even a regular 240 would proably be lower power..
 
I saw this in their ad, but then forgot all about it this past weekend and missed out. 🙁

6100 chipset, but AM2+ and ITX was a great combo for this price.
 
For a Sempron 140 I could pick up the combo on sale at Fry's this week for $30 and sell the MSI K9N6PGM-V2 Motherboard.
 
Ahhh, I see. Missed that port there. I did notice this board earlier but thought it's options seemed very, very limited. I guess it would at least work for a router, as suggested. 🙂
