itunes4.8?

I want to see if there is a good reason to update from 4.7 to 4.8, but i can't find a change log that details information on apple's website, or other places beyond

which makes me think that sticking with 4.7 is perfectly fine

Its got soem Video features, and AFAIK, uses much less CPU and RAM.

xp x64 support. Now it has native 64 bit cd drivers for itunes services. also probabaly a small drm change as well.
