I had to update to version 7.0.2
Before I could set preferences for iTunes not to access the Store when I started iTunes. Now, there doesn't appear to be a way to stop it in Preferences. Has anybody figured out a way to block the automatic connection?
FWIW, my firewall program alerted me that the iTunes was trying to connect to 2 different IP's which I blocked. I then looked them up, and both of them are affiliated with 2o7.net which pissed me off, i.e., instead of a cookie prompt, iTunes was trying to do a direct connection. :|
Edit: Forgot to post my second question. Someone else has iTunes and, when he tries to burn a CD, his computer shuts down. The second time he tries, it works. He has a new computer with XP Media.
Any suggestions?
