I have an iPod. It was free; I would have probably bought an iRiver if I were shelling out money for a player. Ephpod works flawlessly for me.
EDIT: WTF iTunes is using 40MB of memory in Vista.... ummm... :Q Whatever, that's what you get for being on the bleeding edge.

Besides, with 2GB of ram it's neglible.
What if every program & app was written with this mindset? It only seems negligible because the other programs you use are written conscientiously. Apple software writers seem to have the mentality that if you use anything else on your PC while using their software, you are wrong. The big apple is far more important anyway, sheesh :roll: Lucky for them, most of their customers baaagree :laugh: Then there's the continuously running processes iTunes installs which aren't even necessary nor a part of the program. And QT with its file association hijacking, yikes. Just thinking about it has got me wanting to run virus and spyware scans.
Edit: ps - those other running processes are using additional memory, how much is it altogether?
