Get it when it comes out. The reason people pre-order is to guarantee copies as early as possible (and to guarantee a copy if there's going to be big demand). Well, at least, that's why I think people do it 😕

If I hear about some song/album/etc that I want to buy, I want to buy it right then. If it's not available yet, there's a strong chance I'll forget. This way, I still effectively get the item, albeit with a little wait.

if it's queued won't it start downloading as soon as it's available? beats wating for a store to open in the morning.
but if someone was that commited why would they buy it in mp3?

Usually comes with bonus tracks or a video or something; you also get the single immediately after paying for the album, then the rest when it comes out.
