actually that is VERY cool... in a dorm situation that's awesome.

I like the fact that I can share my music libraries between my iBook and my PC(freed up about 6 gigs on my iBook HDD🙂). I wish the windows version of iTunes supported mac formatted iPods though🙁

The new ipod software for windows allows you to plug in a mac formatted ipod and reformat it to windows, and the windows formatted ipod will still work on the mac. I did that with mine the other day.

Was hogging up 50+ too for me.. reason why I uninstalled it..
Also, when clicking "next" when the program was in the background, I had to click twice.. bleh.

Here's the thing that I don't understand about this problem. It uses only 15M (maximized, working - 8MB idle, minimized) for me (and some other people), but it uses 30+ for some other. 😕
Nope you're right. However, when they included this feature, suddenly a bazillion streaming sites on the net showed up, and one guy hacked it to allow downloads. The music companies freaked and a little while later Apple released an "update" which removed this feature. Too bad too, since it'd be great to stream from my desktop at home. Actually, I think I still might have that version somewhere for my Mac, but it's useless for me anyway, since my desktop with all the MP3s on it isn't a Mac. 😛Is there a way to activate song sharing over the internet?
I thought I read about a way to do this when iTunes was mac-only.
I could be wrong though.
Heh. I learned a new acronym.YAITT

One quick question ... does it sync at all with MP3 portables that are not iPods and don't have AAC playback? I have a Nomad 3 and would love to use the iTunes music store, but unless I can easily get it onto my portable, it ain't gonna happen.
