Will they ever fix the filename problem when I have song's by say Notorious B.I.G. In my music folder the folder comes up as "Notorious B.I.G_". Is this a thing with windows that won't let you end your file with a "." or something?

BTW: there is a way to stop, say if you're playing from a smart playlist, then you switch over to library it will give you a stop button. Pretty annoying though...

Also, will itunes ever be skinnable? I would like to see an itunes portable player like WMP9 has when you minimize it. That's one of my favorite features I lost after switching from WMP9 to itunes.

One last thing which pisses me and about every other 56ker left on the planet...Itunes should have an update download! I'd imagine it would be smaller than 20 mb. It always takes me a few hours to download this program when a new version comes out.

I still use Winamp 2.x even though I have Itunes and Winamp 5 installed. For playback Winamp 2.x is lightweight and sounds good. The newer versions of itunes and Winamp do offer new features but they really use up more memory and CPU to do the same thing.

i like itunes.. mainly because of the way i tend to listen to my music. winamp 5 and the ML works too, but i found itunes to be faster in that respect.. that and I have an ipod mini 🙂

the stop button thing isn't too much of an issue, i just hit back if i want to start from the begining. and if i'm switching songs, what difference does it make if i pause or stop.

but to each his own. although, dropping the tags from wma files wasn't a good job on apples part.

MyTunes no longer works, and if u upgrade to 4.5 you can stream music from older version of iTunes. DOWN WITH ITUNES

Have they added a STOP button to the player yet?

haha, that bugs the schlitz out of me.

Me as well.

lol, I didn't even notice the lack until you guys brought it up. Guess I don't have a use for it.

It drove me nuts for the 3 hours I had ITunes installed!!!

3 hours WOW thats long i got rid of it in about 20 min

Why? It's a fair-use thing, not piracy.

Anyone know if this "crack" is at all similar to Mytunes for Windows? I see the program and stuff on this website, but I don't really know how it all works. I need MyTunes again!!! damn the man who made me think that program updates are always good!
