So I am 17, about to graduate in June, and I need to find out if I want to go to ITT or not in the Fall by next Wed!! So I thought I would see what some of you guys think. Is it worth it going there? I have been there because I am taking one of my high school classes there, so I am familiar with the campus and how the classes go. I know they help with Job Placment because I have seen a lot of the students that have been hired. I have also had meetings with the admissions rep, but is it worth going?

Most Colleges > ITT

However, ITT> nothing.

Compare based on what YOU want to do in life, not on 'job placement stats' and hten go from there.

NO. I went there to see what it would cost and what I'd be getting. I was shown around the campus, which was a sad excuse for a school. It looked like a going-out-of-business computer shop that didn't have much left. Then I was told what a two year degree would cost me: $40,000. FORTY! FORTY FRIGGIN THOUSAND DOLLARS for a degree from a second-rate "pre-college".

Hell no.

I wouldn's say that exactly, but yes, there are usually better alternatives.

I'd recommend you go to a 'real' school. Even going to 'Bubbaville State' would probably be better than ITT.

Go to ITT and I will hunt you down and kick your ass. I pissed away two years and a few thousand of my dollars (thank you scholarships) there. ITT is like the egg salad sandwich in the truckstop men's room that's across from a five star estaurant.

Yeah I have to agree that the campus isnt that great. Damn, looks like I have to take the SATs ASAP and try going elsewhere. Probably the local community college. Any other suggestions?

It's not a great choice for programming / software development, but it might be OK for some IT jobs.

Like everyone else said, a 4-year degree from a state school is better for getting most jobs, and it's also a good chance to learn and grow through all the classes outside of your major.
