It's weird when you live in a foreign country what things you miss about American culture...what's yours?

My roommate right now is someone who lived his whole life in the UK. Now hes here working in the US on Long Island.

Things he constantly complains about:
1. Football (soccer), or the extreme lack thereof. Especially Premiership with respect to Liverpool.
2. Food. Things like bacon, bread, pies, etc... They are significantly different here in the states.
3. Beer. Of course, he only likes Lagers, so thats more his problem than anything else.
4. Women. He hates that American women have extremely high and screeching voices.

Things he likes over here better:
1. Getting paid nearly 50% more than he did in the UK working for the same company.
