It's time to panic!

Red Squirrel

No Lifer

The snowpocalypse is coming! All 4cm of it.

I will prepare by setting my alarm 15 minutes early to give me more time to brush off the car tomorrow and give me more time to get to work so I can drive a bit slower.

Honestly not sure why there's a warning, this is standard weather when it starts to warm up. It's been in the -20's and colder so it has not been snowing much.

Read EC's warning and it's mostly for low visibility hampering driving. Blowing snow has been a big problem this year.

So I survived today, they were not joking when they said 4cm. I think it was even less than that. Got up early for nothing. Was at work 10 minutes early. 😛

Got up into the 40s (F) today, which was really nice, and it's going to be in the high 40s/low 50s for the weekend. Need to get outside. 😛

May have a foot of snow on the ground here by tomorrow night. (That's 30cm. Probably have 20cm now.)

I just realized that it's snowing outside. I've been outside for quite a bit of the morning, but barely noticed. We got about 1/4 inch so far; The only thing it made me think is that the 30 bales of straw that I tossed on a tarp in front of the barn are going to have to be smacked a bit before tossing up into the loft.

And, it was finally warm this morning - almost 32 degrees. The neighbor's have ducks on their pond. They keep a pump running a fountain of water to keep a small section unfrozen. With the extreme cold temps of the last week, it resulted in a completely frozen pond and a mountain of ice. So, this morning was the de-icing the pond party. A lot of well placed tannerite, and a well placed shot from a rifle = BIG boom. No more ice mountain. Scared the shit out of the goats.
