hah what a downer.. How about dem Cowboys? Dez is crying on the sidelines. He wasn't allowed to do it in the locker room. So close...

ah a great week 17.

ravens eliminated with the loss and the steelers winning the 1pm games, then the cowboys failing once again in december with kyle orton pulling a tony romo on the possible game winning drive.

Eh, no one hit him, they all tried not to hit him. Stop your crying.

Actually, if we're completely fair, a Dallas guy came in late but it looked like he pulled the blow. Coulda been called either way with how the officials are. I personally think it was a good no call. But can you blame a QB for trying to get a flag? If this was Orton or Romo they would be doing the same thing.

*EDIT*

Here's the hit on Aaron Rodgers that was not even as late of a hit as the Dallas one we're talking about. This was a penalty.

So, all Cowboys fans knew that loss was coming, but Philly should be ashamed how hard it was for them to win.

Philly has nothing to be ashamed about. They are division champions. They went worst to first and set records (most TDs scored ever for franchise, most rushing yards ever for McCoy, most yards from scrimmage for McCoy, etc), experienced the rebirth of a racist receiver, led the NFL in passer rating by a QB who started as a backup to the epic fail that is M.Vick, and led the league in rushing with only less points scored than prolific Denver with Manning. No idea if they can beat New Orleans but NO is vulnerable on the road and Philly is flying high right now. Ask New Orleans if they want to face this team or SF/GB.

Philly was on the road with the division on the line, and Dallas had a great game plan for Orton. I'm not sure what they should be ashamed of, they won a close game and took the division.

Someone should ask Brees if he's excited to go to Philly and get pelted with snowballs next week. You know the Saints were rooting for Dallas.

And that was a weak call, and the announcers said as much (as does that article). But in that video the defender actually does hit Rodgers after he's down, and in Foles's case the defenders all tried to minimize contact.

i hope it will be snowing during the eagles game like it did when the eagles play against the lions. That game was so much fun. No D, all offense.

Philadelphia is not the only place where snowballs have been thrown, just ask Sid Brooks.

Philadephia is not the only city where there has been shitty fan behavior. I'm not excusing bad fan behavior and Philadelphia has certainly had more than its share of bad fan behavior but how come every time it happens in Philadelphia, it's national news but when it happens somewhere else, it's forgotten after two days?

Just trying to illustrate how shitty the ref calling is at times and that anything can be a penalty. You can't really blame the players for calling for a flag when they know half the time they're likely to get one.

Man that's awesome [regarding Kitna donating his salary].. What a great guy.

I thought so at first, but then if you read further, you know Micheal Spurlock had to get cut to make room for Kitna...then I felt really bad for these bubble players who are just trying to make it. Micheal Spurlock is a perennial "53rd man on the roster" who barely makes a team. Kitna's net worth is estimated at about 12 mil.

Sure, it's a feel good story for Kitna to donate the money to his school but Micheal Spurlock or someone like him is not exactly rich and is probably trying to get as much as he can being a "low paid" player. NFL careers don't last long and guys like Spurlock needs to get as much as he can and move on to a 2nd career.

If it snows, then NO is in huge trouble because Shady the Snowman can out-accelerate anyone on the field in slippery conditions.

Smiling 'cause your wallet should be $500 lighter right now.

Should be? No "should be" in a field of internet pussies.

You can talk big all you want after the game, but the bet was out there when it counted, Chief.

Where were you?

Were you tied up with "other ventures", too? 😎

That was the Dallas management decision, not Kitna's.
You bothered to look up Kitna's worth, and skipped the fact that he is teaching high school in what has been one of Tacoma's toughest schools? He could live anywhere, but lives in the district.
