what are the chances that Rodgers makes it past the end of the 1st quarter?

This.

I hate to say it but if he gets more hurt many will compare this to what the Redskins did to RG3 last year. We all know how well that has worked out.

The Packers O-line still looks weak so whom ever is QB is still going to get smacked this week.

that don't matter. cutler is back.

ugh.

Otoh, Cutler could have a killer, nearly mistake free game. He's certainly got the targets.

Rodgers has been out quite some time and could easily be off just enough to make all the difference in the world.

On the CBS radio stations, they have 30-60 clips from their guys like Boomer and Jim Rome. I forget which one it was but he was ranting about how holding the SB at the Meadowlands is bad because it means a team like the NFC's best Saints that's built for playing indoors and good conditions is at an unfair disadvantage. I couldn't face palm any harder at the fact that he 1) called the Saints the NFC's best and 2) that the SB's venue should cater to teams that take the weather conditions out of their home field.

They should just dress these players up in leotards and tutus then...

In other news, the Bears claim it was no big deal being demolished by the Eagles. They didn't really want to win the division title last week anyways. Jay 'should be Cut'ler is going to get it done against the Packers. Riiiiiigghhtt...

Philadelphia at Dallas. Orton is not a bad game manager and nothing is a foregone conclusion but if Philly gets any kind of lead, do you really have any confidence Orton can lead a team back? Me neither. On the other hand, you do have some confidence Philadelphia's high octane offense can do so...Philly in a close one.

Rex Ryan: I'll be back.

Shanahan: I'll be back...to clear out my office on Monday.

The last game of the "regular" season is the first game of the playoffs imo.

As to playing at the Meadowlands in cold weather, well, f u. Should we just mandate indoor stadiums for all teams? Football is an all weather sport. Get used to it or start watching Basketball.

If you had bet me which Rex was going to be a goner I NEVER would have bet on Shanahan over Ryan.

Peyton says he'll make sure that bleephole Brady never breaks his TD records again, then he'll celebrate! BTW, how does the NFL react to the legalization of marijuana in Colorado?

Is anyone watching Sunday NFL Countdown? Tom Jackson just said that for the Cowboys to win they'll need to dominate possession 40:00 to 20:00. LMAO. Chris Carter did a double take. All 5 panelists chose the Eagles to win. Damn. 🙁

It's gonna be a busy NFL day today. 18 teams still in the payoff picture. No team's position is know except for the team out of the playoffs. Many teams won't know what a win or loss means for them until the very end of their game or slightly after. There's very few games that mean nothing.

Just about every game will have teams playing their hardest. 😀

Employers can set their own standards for conduct and the NFL is no different.

Players won't be prosecuted by the State, but the Feds can and the NFL can still suspend them. It really changes nothing for players.

I think he's talking about drug policies of a company who does business in states where it's legal.

yeah this has been pretty obvious for about a month for anyone following the situation.

and to all the rg3 haters i hope you have the "privledge" of watching the skins/giants game and just seeing how "great" cousins looks in this offense. i think they have 2 first downs the entire first half. the skins are about to be 0-3 with cousins at the helm.

the skins are bad no matter who is out there at qb, and they just look like a poorly coached team. they have to get rid of shanny. i just hope they have someone lined up.
