It's the ESN on my Virgin Mobile phone good?

Probably a dumb question, but being on virgin is my first foray in CDMA phones.

I bought a Kyocera Rise on virgin and had it running as my phone for about 6 months. Then I bought the LG F3 and switched my service to the F3.

Question is, is it safe to sell the Kyocera Rise after a factory reset assuming they can activate it on Virgin?
