Nothing beats THIS classic:

Was the night before Christmas, forty below
When Snoopy went up in search of his foe
He spied the Red Baron, fiercely they fought
With ice on his wings, Snoopy knew he was caught

[Chorus]
Christmas bells those Christmas bells
Ring up from the land
Asking peace of all the world
And good will toward man

===============

[Verse 3]
The Baron made Snoopy fly to the Rhine
And forced him to land behind the enemy lines
Snoopy was certain that this was the end
When the Baron cried out "Merry Christmas, mein friend!"

[Verse 4]
The Baron then offered a holiday toast
And Snoopy our hero, saluted his host
And then with a roar they were both on their way
Each knowing they'd meet on some other day

[Chorus]
Christmas bells those Christmas bells
Ringing through the land
Bringing peace to all the world
And good will to man
Christmas bells those Christmas bells
Ringing through the land
Bringing peace to all the world
And good will to man

Probably not my "favorite", but this one has been stuck in my head for the last few days with the news of the passing of Shane MacGowan:

Does anyone know of any other arrangements like this, a lead singer with a choir behind them? Anytime I do a search for choirs it is more like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, which is nice, but it does not have a lead singer.

My dept did the post production work on that album. That cover is seriously touch up.

One song will forever make me puke any time I hear it.

Andy Williams “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”

Back when Circuit City was a going concern, for a BF sale, I camped outside for ~12-14 hrs and the store had Christmas music playing thru their external speakers. Unfortunately, the only song that played was the aforementioned Andy Williams song…over and over and over.

It was like the Chinese Water Torture. Fortunately, did get minor respite from it when CompUSA opened at midnight and I got to leave for an hour.

I despise that song and even his voice to this day.
