aww.. it does suck that they eat your garden, but I like snails for some reason.. they're cool.

Those are big snails too.. We have tiny ones around here.

If they were that big, I would collect them by hand and move them to someone elses garden. :evil:

When I was a kid in So Cal the snails would come out all over after a spring rain. Being gross little boys we collected them and made a line of snails across our street, just to listen to the "Skruish skruish" sound they made when run over by a car.

Salt is not so good for garden soil, but I hear beer works to keep them out.

NorthEast coast is where I am. I guess in California the sun really tans those snails brown
