I just got out of the shower and looked outside and it's snowing!!!! Big deal you say? It is! I haven't seen it snow in over 16 years.

EDIT: I guess I did something to where it replied before I even typed. 😱

wow... 16 years... i guess that would be exciting! Hard for me to relate since I have experienced heavy snow every winter of my life. Upstate NY rocks!!
 
I've lived on the Central Coast of California for that long. I was born in Colorado, so I was used to seeing it. But, it's just a cool experience when you haven't seen it in a very long time. 😀
 
Hzl, your lucky, i saw about 4 flakes the saturday after Christmas and well, I live in CT. (the one time it snowed, i was in the bronx, and it rained)
 
cool... i've lived in Syracuse,NY all my life... planning on moving pretty soon... maybe i'll check out some place warmer.🙂

Where I'm from it's nice practically year round. We don't have hot summers. (If it hits around 85 or 90 people are dyin'.) heehee We don't have very cold winters, either. The lowest it gets is at night and that's only around 38 or so.

woodly - If I remember right, you're in/near Sac, right? It gets pretty chilly there in the winter, I thought.
 
I want more snow. 😀 It snowed here (VA) Wed. and Thurs., and I spent all day yesterday playing in it and sledding. It hit 45 F today though, so throw in the temp with the salt and sand, all the sledding hills are melted. 🙁

Man I hate this state, no O2 and cold half the year, I need to blow this popsickle stand!

damn... in Syracuse it can get up into the 90's at times in the summer... (and thats a humid 90, so it feels even hotter) and in the winter it can get as cool as -30 w/wind chill. Nice varity though... swimming in the summer, skiing in the winter... we don't get much sun but I like having four solid seasons.

We stopped in Vegas on the way out here. It was my first time being there. (Well, since being a kid anyway.) We stopped at the MGM grand for an hour or so.

No, I didn't dance naked outside. 😛 But, after getting out of the shower and seeing the snow....I forgot about getting dressed. 😱 So, I was wondering around the house half naked for a while. :Q 😱 (Xerox Man was at work.) 😛 Heehee

Chilly--Yes Snow--Never🙁


Allthough its only like 2 hours to the snow of tahoe.
 
I live here in Iowa, and we haven't gotten more than a trace of snow all year. This is the freakiest winter I've ever seen!
