It's snowing

Good! Let the season start. Need a lot more here for a decent base for skiing. Been a mild October in Denver. Usually it snows, at least a dusting, before Halloween.

yea and tomorrow looks like it will be a beautiful day a perfect 71 degree high to go on a motorcycle ride on the country roads NE of Denver.

haven't ridden all week, not a fan of 28 degree morning and being on my motorcycle.

I think I'm a curse. Every year I buy a ski pass the snow is shit.

I'm not ready for the snow either. I have about 250 square feet of roofing left to do, plus 2 skylights. Last night's roofing got called on account of the felt paper frosting up and getting really really slippery. I'm not looking forward to finishing it in cold, miserable weather - then rebuilding a wall and roof on a shed. (Plus steel roofing)

I live really close to Lake Michigan, it was raining by me when I got up this morning. Started driving west to go to work, noticed all the houses' roofs were covered in snow once I got a few miles away from the lake. I'm looking forward to winter. 🙂

Is that that white stuff that falls from the sky when it's really cold out?

BTW-It's going to be in the 80s here next week. 71 is supposed to be the high today. 😎

We had the snow here in Southern WI as well. Not ready for it, but it could be worse I guess. I remember back in 2006, we had quite a bit when the kids went out trick-or-treating. Seems like it was at least 6 inches, or more.

The wind sure is blowing like crazy. I can see a little leaf tornado flying around outside my office window!

Seven days ago it was ~75, today it's 40. Meh, I'm fine either way. The only part about winter that annoys me is the lack of daylight, but even that's not unbearable.

It snowed here too. First official day of winter, I suppose. I consider it official when the snow stays on the ground. Will be good for the kids tonight, better snow than rain.

It's a nice break from the rain. Unfortunately I still don't have my winter tires on because it's been raining since like start of August. Might have to put them on in the cold.
