The snow is really coming down hard now around the Norther Virginia area. I hear y'all up in the New England area are going to have it especially bad. Anyone staying home to enjoy the snow today? 😀

My tires are too worn down for serious snow running, and I need school. Paid plenty for it, now I want an education. NOVA schools shut down too easily.
In Minnesota this would not have stopped us.

I will go out to the local IHOP or something.
 
eastern nc, we thought wed get some, but we got nada :-/

its gonna be 32 out today, and a little windy. and its still wet from yesterday...so its going to suck
 
No work today. Snow day! 🙂

We're pretty well buried. Have a few branches down in the front yard and lost power a few times.

It's around 21 degrees here (DC suburbs), and it's still flurrying. Not quite a snow day though. I get to work from home.

I wonder if we're going to have the President making fun of us again for being wimps when it comes to snow...

Yeah, used shovel. I'm probably going to clear the driveway of the house next to me, as well (for money, of course). The lady who owns that house is a recent widow, and she's only there like once a week. Just in the house now to drink some coffee.

I heard VDOT isn't doing anything, that they don't have any money to do anything.
I don't know what the facts are, but if you look at http://511virginia.org/Cameras.aspx?r=1 the roads don't look like they've been touched.

Edit: some roads are looking better now.. maybe they are sending some crews out now?
 
I don't see what the hubbub was about... didn't seem that bad to me outside, at least not compared with any other snow storm.

took me 5 minutes to remove the snow from my car and all the roads were clear.
 
No matter how much snow we get, I still have class. Sucks for the Profs and anyone driving, but they seem to make it every time. This storm however... is missing me. 😀
